Valentine Gauthier - (science)fiction or true love?

Hi peeps! The past few days have been crazy, my fever jumped back on, then I visited some Fashion Stock Sales that had prices so crazy I couldn't believe my eyes (one piece I know for sure had actually a raised price of over 20 euros!) and then I did some shopping with my lovvy girls, visited this farm that was filled with interior decoration stuff... And I'm out.

Luckily I have something very cool to show you all. This time in the Travelling Jacket -project by Modepass, I got to showcase this beautiful piece by Valentine Gauthier, a young and very talented designer from Paris. She makes the most beautiful leather jackets, I can tell you. So, as usual, a bunch of bloggers around the world get the travelling piece for themselves and in return they show how they fit it with their own, unique style. Those pictures are then revealed in Modepass day by day. This is the way I see it:

Vest - Valentine Gauthier, belt - Gina Tricot, leather cuff - H&M Men, leggings - Ida Sjöstedt, top - Filippa K, nails - Essie: Over the Top

And this is what I wrote about it for Modepass:

"It was love at first sight. From the first glimpse I saw the Valentine Gauthier vest, I knew I was going to take it extreme. The straps, the cuts, the contrasting colors in details were just the thing that crawl under my skind and haunt me in my day dreams.

The vest was a bit big for my tiny figure, so I tried on a wide studded belt and tucked the vest under it.

That worked out great, giving the outfit a feel of goth and as I like it: science fiction.

The shiny, leathery lamé leggings complete the look. Allthough the vest can also be worn without the belt and still get the same feeling, let the fabric flow and drape, I do like the harsh edge the belt brings to the game.

For more relaxed everyday look, simply take it off, like I did.

I feel unreal. It's sometimes a good thing to feel."

By the way, if you would like to own this jacket or one of the two other garments by Valentine Gauthier, your opportunity is here: Sign up for Modepass and leave a comment on this page on Modepass. Then I'll wish you the best of luck!
