The blue of the Eple & Melk jacket

I'm excited! I get to be a part of this Modepass-project where a circle of bloggers get some interesting designer clothing and then they wear the clothing, photoshoot it and write a little something about it on Modepass and on their blog. The most fascinating part? We get to keep the clothing!

Our first clothing is a beautiful blue jacket by Eple & Melk. This Parisian young designer gets her vibes from Scandinavia, and the label can be described as romantico-rock. You can check out the project page on Modepass here: The Travelling Eple & Melk jacket.

Here's what I wrote about the jacket on Modepass:

"This jacket by Eple & Melk is just magic. I have been wearing mostly black and white throughout the winter, but this burst of blue pushed me forward to face the Spring. I knew I was going to be excited about this, but I never guessed I'd be this much excited!

I very much like the leather parts of the jacket and I adore the cut - it's very interesting and unique. I also like the different shades of blue on the jacket, they make the whole piece vivid and fresh. They kind of remind me of waves in an ocean, or ripples in a pond. Very inspiring.

I dressed the jacket with a plain white t-shirt and blue denim pants with zippers, colors that can both be seen in the Nordic nature as the seasons go by. I wore the combination with my favourite pair of leather heels and a ceramic necklace designed by Paola Suhonen. My outfit is very classic, but is has an edgy vibe to it, just the way I like it. This jacket made me feel very chic. And why wouldn't it? Afterall I have a piece of Paris with me."
